SCHOOL HISTORY
Dampalit Elementary School I is located at Nadala Street,Merville Subdivision, Dampalit, Malabon City. School ID No. is 136829.It is under the jurisdiction of Malabon I district, Division of Malabon City National Capital Region.
Dampalit Elementary School – I is a small school made of semi-concrete materials located on a 1,152 sq. m. lot on Nadala St., Merville Subdivision, Dampalit, Malabon City.
Dampalit Elementary School – I was founded in 1972 with Mrs. Rosa Q. Reyes as the pioneer principal. The school started with a semi-concrete two-storey building, the Rodriguez Building with 8 classrooms, housed all the pupils and the different facilities of the school.
Then, two more bungalow type buildings were constructed, the Bagong Lipunan and the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce Buildings, with two rooms each, which served as additional classroom. Since 1972, until 2011.
In 2012 a stilt type building with four classroom was constructed. An additional stilt type building with four classrooms was constructed and was turned over in 2014. The Dampalit Elementary School I administration, faculty and pupils now enjoy the comfort of the facilities of the school.
Dampalit Elementary School I used to have 3 buildings namely The Rodriguez, Bagong Lipunan and Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce building, a stage and a schoolground where school activities are held. The school is used to be under water come rainy season.. Bagong Lipunan building was demolished. Part of the Rodriguez building was demolished to give way to the construction of a new building which now stand to cater all classes in Dampalit I Elementary School. The Rodriguez building is now demolished as well as the Fil-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and an additional stilt type building was constructed.
Twenty (20) school heads were given the chance to manage it.
